Senior Pastor

Pastor Tony McCoy is the Senior Pastor of Hope International Church, affectionately known as “The Real Church,” located in Groveland Florida. As Pastor, he brings creative and innovative vision with an “out of the box” approach for ministering to all cultures and age groups. Since beginning his pastorship in 2004, he has watched the congregation grow from five to over 600 members. Pastor Tony was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and is the oldest of four children and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. He went on to get his ministers license in 1996, through the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association, and in 2019, he received his Doctorate in Divinity.

Pastor Tony is also a retired ten-year veteran of the National Football League. Drafted in the fourth round in 1991 by the Indianapolis Colts, he enjoyed eight years of success and later went on to sign a two-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. During his professional career he had the joy of leading many of his teammates into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Tony and Jodie married in 1993 and their union has produced 3 children: Khrystyna, TJ (Tony Jr.), and Isaiah. Pastor experienced many hardships in his life, which allows him to relate well with other people. Through the guidance of Christ and a supportive family, Pastor Tony was able to surpass many everyday obstacles that individuals experience today. His desire is to teach others so that through Christ, they too can surpass the enemy’s obstacles of drugs, crime, poverty and unfulfilled relationships.

Even in light of receiving many awards, Pastor Tony records his salvation and his family as his greatest achievements. As you listen to him, you will notice that he speaks with compassion and power, while bringing the bible into focus with today’s challenges. 

First Lady

First Lady Jodie McCoy is a Long Island, NY native. She was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana where she married the love of her life in 1993. From this union they have three beautiful children; Khrystyna, TJ (Tony Jr.) and Isaiah. She takes great joy in making her children her focal point as they transition into young adulthood. She is a new grandmother, affectionately known as “Noni,” to Derrick & Christopher Tremaine. Pastor Jodie, is the co-founder of Hope International Church, where she is her husband’s biggest supporter. Throughout their entire marriage, they have ministered God’s Word in a fashion that Saves Souls, Encourages Hearts, and Changes their Surrounding Community.  

From the time she could remember, her heart has always been for supporting and caring for hurting people.  First Lady McCoy is an encourager by nature. She believes that whatever your circumstances, you can rise above them. Pastor Jodie’s passion is to “love people to life.” In addition to being the First Lady of Hope International Church, Pastor Jodie is an entrepreneur, realtor, wife, mother and grandmother. Pastor Jodie embraces the calling that God has placed on the lives of both her and her husband. She is a woman of God, who has the power to minister to all of God’s people, regardless of their ethnicity, financial status, gender, or age.

When you meet Pastor Jodie , you encounter a mighty woman of God, prayer warrior, and a down to earth First Lady. 

Assistant & Marriage Ministry Pastors

As veteran's in the faith and Pastoral realm, Pastor Winston and Rita Simon offer support in various ministry duties; to include but not limited to the support of our Senior Pastors, and serving as marriage ministry counselors for those in need.

Executive Director

Working closely with our Senior Pastors and Board of Directors, Executive Tremaine serves in overseeing the overall management of the church leaders and campus. 

Youth Leaders & Assistant Executive Directors 

With hearts to see  young people  live their best life for Christ, Minister TJ and Meraiah present the Word of God in a fresh and  relatable way that  our youth can  easily digest and apply to their lives. 

Associate Pastor

As additional support to our Pastoral Staff, Pastor Brian's passion to share the Word and disciple others is seen through his teachings and leadership in various ministries to include our Men's Shaker's Group. 

Associate Pastors & Assistant Executive Director

As worship Pastor, Pastor Kevin is intricately involved in the worship experience as we recognize God's presence through song each week. His wife Pastor Sharnae, serves on our Executive team, Women's ministry, and Assistant Principal at Hope Preparatory Academy; servicing grades K-12. Together they are a dynamic force for the Kingdom of God.

Servant Leader & Assistant Executive Director

Servant Leader Nia leads with compassion and excitement as she uses her gift to lead ministry classes and support organizational structure as a member of the Executive Director Team.  

Associate & Evangelism Pastor

Leading our Missions and Prayer team,  Pastor Fitzgerald operates in the gift of Prophesy, and intercessory prayer. 

Associate & Special Needs Pastor

With a heart to serve others, Dr. Campbell is called to love on our Special Needs Community. From support groups to free respite care breaks through our Nathaniel Hope Buddy Break partnership, she warmly welcomes all families no matter their diagnoses or ability.
