Established in 2018, Hope Torchlighters is a nonprofit organization that helps to provide support, stability wellness, advocacy, and empowerment to special needs and neurodiverse families in Groveland, Lake County, and Central Florida.

Nathaniel’s Hope Buddy Break is a free respite care program, where children to adults with disabilities (affectionately called “VIPs”), have fun and receive individualized attention from a trained volunteer Buddy. (Our location in Groveland is one of the only Buddy Break and free respite care programs in Lake County). Siblings are welcomed as well. Meanwhile, caregivers and parents receive a break from their continuous caregiving responsibilities.
